Everybody loves changing their desktop wallpapers from time to time! But finding the right image can be really tricky, since there are virtually billions of images to choose... here, I've selected 20 beautiful cityscape wallpapers to ease your search.

I found some really awesome images, that will make your desktop look beautiful. Since I'm very fond of Chicago, I've selected it 5 wallpapers, and New York got 4, but they're awesome as well. One thing that I'd like to let you know, is that if you're trying to get one of the wallpapers from Interface Lift and didn't get it in your first try, try a second time, because sometimes it doesn't come right away. 3D computer graphics software

3D computer graphics software refers to programs used to create 3D computer-generated imagery. This article only covers some of the software used.

3D modelers are used in a wide variety of industries. The medical industry uses them to create detailed models of organs. The movie industry uses them to create and manipulate characters and objects for animated and real-life motion pictures. The video game industry uses them to create assets for video games. The science sector uses them to create highly detailed models of chemical compounds. The architecture industry uses them to create models of proposed buildings and landscapes. The engineering community uses them to design new devices, vehicles and structures as well as a host of other uses. There are typically many stages in the "pipeline" that studios and manufacturers use to create 3D objects for film, games, and production of hard goods and structures.

Many 3D modelers are general-purpose and can be used to produce models of various real-world entities, from plants to automobiles to people. Some are specially designed to model certain objects, such as chemical compounds or internal organs.

3D modelers allow users to create and alter models via their 3D mesh. Users can add, subtract, stretch and otherwise change the mesh to their desire. Models can be viewed from a variety of angles, usually simultaneously. Models can be rotated and the view can be zoomed in and out.

Vector Graphics

Vector graphics is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygon(s), which are all based on mathematical equations, to represent images in computer graphics.

Vector graphics formats are complementary to raster graphics, which is the representation of images as an array of pixels, as it is typically used for the representation of photographic images.[1] There are instances when working with vector tools and formats is best practice, and instances when working with raster tools and formats is best practice. There are times when both formats come together. An understanding of the advantages and limitations of each technology and the relationship between them is most likely to result in efficient and effective use of tools.

Computer displays are made up from small dots called pixels. The picture is built up from these dots. The smaller and closer the dots are together, the better the quality of the image, but the bigger the file needed to store the data. If the number of pixels is kept constant, the size of each pixel will grow and the image becomes grainy when magnified, as the resolution of the eye enables it to pick out individual pixels.

Vector graphics files store the lines, shapes and colours that make up an image as mathematical formulae. A vector graphics program uses these mathematical formulae to construct the screen image, building the best quality image possible, given the screen resolution. The mathematical formulae determine where the dots that make up the image should be placed for the best results when displaying the image. Since these formulae can produce an image scalable to any size and detail, the quality of the image is only determined by the resolution of the display, and the file size of vector data generating the image stays the same. Printing the image to paper will usually give a sharper, higher resolution output than printing it to the screen but can use exactly the same vector data file.

Use of 3D design in animation
3D design is a three dimensional representation of geometric dimension. 3D designs are different 2D designs but both of them have some similarities. 3D designs and 2D designs depend on the same algorithm, vector graphics and raster graphics. At times 3D techniques are used by 2D designs too for the adverse effect of lightening and more. Most of the times 3D computer graphics are called as 3D models too. A 3D model is a three dimensional mathematical representation. To create a real 3D world one has to follow three major steps to be done in a perfect manner.

To be realistic create a virtual 3D world, determine which part has to be shown and determine how many pixels should be shown on screen so that the whole image looks like a realistic image. An object that contains the height, depth and width is called a 3D computer graphics. Most of the 3D graphics that are created are of the motion type. The 3D graphic designers software is mainly used in the games and also in creating the motion pictures.

This representation is very important for the recognition of the company and also it reflects the image of the brand. Simplicity is very important aspect for a logo. If all graphic designers had to fit the definition of the term perfectly we (designers) would all be magicians who could jump through rings of smoke and make multimedia artworks appear with the wave of a mouse and the words "abracadabra". In reality most designers are only knowledgeable about a few parts of the graphic design field. Graphic design has become a multimedia field.

The reality is that the field encompasses illustration (digital or fine art illustrations including painting), magazine layout and book layout (what you find on the shelves of bookstores and superstores, textile design (carpets, materials and upholstery), print design and advertisement design (concepts for advertising campaigns and silkscreen printing for clothing), interface and web design (design and coding of websites and interface designs for software development and planning), video effects and editing (shooting and editing of corporate video and commercial video as well as special effects and animation), 3D modeling and animation (Creation and animation of 3 dimensional models like Shrek), and many other fields. All of the above is considered to be Graphic Design.

Most graphic designers will attempt to be as knowledgeable as possible about these different areas, or have colleagues that they often refer to for assistance with big Multimedia graphic design jobs. It is however, impossible to be an expert on every field.

Graphic design is a term that is used in association with commercial art for the most part... It involves splicing together a multimedia concoction of art, computer skills, digital imagery, design concepts, advertising concepts, type, copyright, video material and more.
